Galleries at William Paterson University The University Galleries mount changing exhibitions of contemporary art and make these available to students and faculty and to residents of the surrounding communities. The Galleries oversee the University's art collections and sponsor lectures on art thus serving as a cultural resource for the general public. The mission of The University Galleries is to introduce contemporary art forms to those unfamiliar with them, and to expand the horizons of the already familiar audience in order to help them enjoy the arts more keenly and in greater depth.
